This winter has sucked for many.  The departures are enormous for ALL of us.  Weenies gonna ween if anyone is trying to contest it's been anything but exceedingly warm, and less than snowy for many.

What many were feeling as a major shift to cold and presumably snowy is now periodic harsh cold with some mild ups.  In short, a colder version of a similar outcome to what we had a month ago.

One of these storms should align right and we crunched just out of dumb luck.  But the majority continue to be messes for the CP, or scrapes/OTS.

IF, and this is a huge if, the cape did get 1-3/2-4 from this one, it's actually kind of a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Unfortunately most in SNE don't live in Worcester county. The vast majority live within 495. Even more around 128. For this region, the winter has been subpar

Yes, around 495 YTD snowfall is average, and as you get closer to the coast it gets worse and worse. Ray is 17", Jerry is like 10-12" or something. BOS is 7". So yes, eastern MA is worse. BOS would probably have like 20" or so at this point in an average winter.

All about snowfall...its gotten pretty bad. I would have thought yesterday's snow for many would calm weenies, but it seems to have only made it worse. Like giving a drug attict just a pinch.

It's all about perspective....this winter has been great for Kev, good for you, subpar for me, and awful for boston.

Plain and simple.

This coming from someone who isn't really invested emotionally any longer.

The winter here so far has been good and I can't complain about the lack of snow, only the lack of cold weather to keep it in the ground.

Last year's disaster winter was terrible with 29.7" of snow. So far this season I am at 35.5" and it's only Mid-January.

Careful some people will question your total. Also you wanted the snow to melt so you could be comfortable taking down your Christmas decorations

I am starting to enjoy the fact some folks in my hood have put up winter theme lights. No decorations , just some winter night lights that look cool when it snows.

yeah, that's cool-white lights on trees are a good winter theme...the wreaths, colored lights and blow up santas can go away though. My neighbor still has a full manger out on Jan 17th...
