good thing for coastal folks is (thus far) no screaming onshore flow. very light BL flow so if it's cold enough to start, no monster coastal front to worry about. maybe immediate immediate shore feels effects of low level easterly winds but not like last time where jerry was nude high-fiving wxsniss thinking he had out run the coastal front only to be cursing minutes later.

Yeah  I agree. Very light winds.

And LOL at your last sentence.

It's the perfect scenario as modeled for the most part.  Any stronger on the low and we're kissing rain.  I like where I sit for this one.  Just inland enough to avoid any onshore flow and close enough to the low that I may reap the benefits of any enhancement.

Yeah there is really no coastal front in this whole setup. With a weak wave passing south, it makes sense. If we get a nice thump of omega across the area, then most people will see snow as long as the temperature aloft support it, which at this point they do...maybe the south coast has to worry about that at some point.
