Pretty damn close to where -8 C is actually. But these kind of DGZ depths have been associated with the really high ratio snows (think 20:1 or greater).

Although we are pretty far north, I've got 1-2" in my forecast for the ski area just based on the potential for high ratio snow. I could see .05" QPF translate to 1.5" of dust. 18z NAM is just over 0.1" QPF here, so I think we'll squeak out an inch or two. Wouldn't rule out a weenie 3" pretty far north as I bet some rouge, thin bands stretching SW to NE could keep some small areas in decent light snow for a while across NVT and NNH.

And above my nape here.

NAM looked pretty good for a front end thump of a few inches in our neck of the woods.

This is going to be one of those deals where it may be a 32-33F snow for you and I..if it were to come to fruition. I sort of like how our RPM keeps me just cool enough, towards the last event on 12/29..it hinted at the rain here and it worked out well. We'll see.

Have been out and about enjoying my last week of break, but here's my final call:

CT coast: D-2" over to IP/RA pretty quickly (probably by 12z).

DXR-HFD-IJD-PVD-TAN-BOS: 2-4" with an eventual changeover.

NW CT-ORH-LWM: 4-6" all SN with a jackpot of 5-6" in interior NE Mass or extreme southern NH.

For CT, looks pretty bleh after a front end dump (D-4"), with the exception of the CT/MA border.

I bet most of NVT sees 2-3" of pure fluff. Maybe a spot 4" at Burke or something.
