Mr Torchey
No it hasn't Wrong, but whatever. ORH_wxman
How was the latest RGEM anyone know? Warmer than 00z. Prob not very good there, though you'd get some snow before flipping.

Damage In Tolland
Warmer than 00z. Prob not very good there, though you'd get some snow before flipping.how come you don't put your snowfall total ideas on here anymore? You used to do it for every storm which was awesome
weathafella
I'm growing convinced that the bl won't be as much a potential issue as the mid levels for mby. Marine influence seems less than the last event but mid levels may be worse.
amarshall
I'm going to put all of my hats, gloves and boots into the attic tonight. Coastal plain can't catch a break. Time for some major league reverse psychology, karma.

Baroclinic Zone
It's not a seabreeze front in January. Well what do you call a wind that comes off the ocean?
TalcottWx
Well what do you call a wind that comes off the ocean? think it has something to do with the meteorological definition of seabreeze front and the time of day
weathafella
Well what do you call a wind that comes off the ocean? Try coastal front this time of year.

Ginx snewx
Recorded a trace of accumulated sleet and snow with some still left. Nice when a torch ends with snow. Could be a good period of thumping for some. The posts yesterday about the snow melting and not accumulating are always fun. I was 58 as late as 3 yesterday and woke this morning at 430 with a covering. Still some minor spots but those who snow tonight should have no problems accumulating. OceanStWx
Well what do you call a wind that comes off the ocean? That would imply land temps getting significantly warmer than the water. But we've all typed some suspect things on the overnight shift.

Mr Torchey
looks the nam is a quick thump down here, most of the heaviest precip falls as snow, very very close though

Mr Torchey
Yeah, It looks warmer to me as well Its colder here no question looking at 6z, it warms but after most of the precip has fallen.Even the surface is colder along with 850s, not sure about out east was only looking around here. Tropopause_Fold
it's splitting hairs. it's probably cooler in some areas and milder in others. won't make much of a difference for S coast anyway.
Baroclinic Zone
looks warmer to me. Looks like a period of frozen precip before 850s head above 0c for the SE MA area.
Clinch Leatherwood
looks warmer to me. Compared to the 0z the 0c line is south a bit in eastern ma during the earlier part of the storm. Therefore I'm tossing all other models and the nam after 24 hours I'd agree its quite a bit warmer. I think it'd give you and I a few inches pre flip. My expectations are really low.
