moneypitmike
NAM is barely 1-2" around here EC ens mean QPF is a "tick" north of the op. 0.05" BTV-CAR 0.10" MPV-BML-HUL 0.25" DDH-CON-PWM 0.50" DXR-SFZ-GHG For GC--1-3 on the EC, 1-2 on the NAM. Maybe advisory worthy if the ratios work out, ftw. 41.8/

Absoltuely it is......I'll be clamoring for any indication that things will nudge north. It's awful to be watching a system that's not delivering above the MA/VT. I know it usually plays out reasonable well--but the nearness of getting screwed is always worrisome.

moneypitmike
Think we'll stay as all snow here? I'm worried that this thing keeps trending north... If the GFS comes north, I'd throw up the flag, but if it's steady, I think you can take some comfort that there won't be any massive shifting. Counting down the tenths of degrees to stop the melting. 40.3/27.

N. OF PIKE
Even last year gave the coast 3 little snow events In mid-late january.bos would fall behind last years total if they get to 23rd w/out more than another inch I believe. And yes I know the pattern is better this year and I'm sure bos will score last week in jan (I think)

Good call for once I think lol limited dynamics and meh air mass is rain/sleet/crap 98% of the time on the immediate coast and even 10-15 miles inland. Quincy
I think along and NW of I-84 stays mostly snow, but sleet could be an issue based on what I'm seeing for southern CT. The GFS/NAM show warming in the BL sandwiched around a colder layer around 900-950mb. Mostly rain right on the coast? I'd like to see high pressure to the north, but that's really not going to happen in the more ideal sense.
