So I took a drive in my Satellite today over CT, and damn look at the snow off the interstate. Nice fresh cover over Cape Cod and of course there's the screw zone populated by our beloved jaded Bob.

That's an awesome shot, Steve.  What a latitudinal line there across the NE.

Not so sure about this first system--though i think all eyes are glued to to both the potential and volatility of the models.

As far as the late week system is concerned (is that for this thread as well?), I'm thinking that 1) I might need to stay at a hotel at BDL on Friday night and 2)my Saturday flight to Orlando might be in jeopardy.  Plenty of time to worry about that one though.

Let's change that inv trough to a low center.

FWIW a lot of the individual SREF members are pretty interesting. Big inverted trough signal that sort of blossoms into a low off the coast.

Some pretty awesome members of the 6z GEFS too.  (Scooter nice call yesterday, just took a day for the models to catch onto your idea/hope :) )

Yeah just saw the GEFS.

It's a sneaky setup but I would not be surprised at all if this turns into a 3-6 kinda deal. If we can do that cold will be even more impressive over the following days.

Yea cold snow storms are always the best, and hey check out the extended. Great times incoming, busy weatherman are always less grumpy.

I'm not sure what it takes for Moosup residents to be less grumpy... but hopefully this will do it.

We'll have to see what's going on. Nice shot of cold and 2 storm chances... looking good.

You looked like you just came back from Alaskan King Crab fishing on the GTG pics.

LOL, geez thanks, winter warmth, expecting record cold so let it grow, looks like I will need it long well into March then its back to the 1/8th cut. Over the years you learn these things. Good stuff to pass on to the next generation. Felt in Sept this would be a normally cold winter with bouts of extreme. Old folks know somethings.

I'm just playing around. It's a gtg with weenies...not like a fashion convention in Milan.
