mattb65
Some of the SREF members absolutely crush eastern mass and SE MA and give less to the inv trough signal up in SE NH and SW ME... It seems that the mesolow or whatever it is goes bonkers. Should be some impressive high end amounts here on the plumes. http://www.meteo.psu.edu/~fxg1/SREF21PRSNE_15z/srefloop.html

Bryan
SREF has a tiny blip of 45% probability for 8"+ across southeastern Mass. That's so beautiful, been a long long time since we've had a legitimate shot like this down here. Does anyone have a time frame of when the steady stuff comes in and when it's gone? BostonWX
4-7" imby final call. SREFS really like you with almost a 50% chance of 8. Not bad eh?

moneypitmike
18z Nam much drier than 12z, similar max areas Sure is--we can always hang our hats on ratios. I think this has some surprises up it's sleeve...it will continue to come west...west is the new trend .5-.7? 6-10"? Ratios are great. Sref is bullish Good spot, Jay. Clinch Leatherwood
NAM ut oh Dusting to 2-3 for me is my call. I don't buy the ncep crap. Euro/rgem blend. Gfs and later srefs will fold some too imo
PWMan
Such huge bust potential up here. GYX just upgraded coastal Cumberland and York Counties to WSWs. The text of the warning makes clear how much uncertainty there is, but people will latch onto the fact that there's a WSW and will expect the higher totals. I'd think that schools, etc. will want wait until early tomorrow AM to make calls on closings.
BostonWX
I'm right around that blip of 45% for 8" on the SREFs. Nervous as all hell though, with this setup. I wouldn't be shocked if that band over SE mass drifts a bit north over to Bridgewater-Hanover-Hingham, seeing as how these sometimes verify further north. That would be my only concern
