amarshall
I love this @ToddWBZ: The entire coast needs to be on guard for 8+” because in the end the heavy zone could set up anywhere…these events can be explosive! Tim Kelley NECN @SurfSkiWxMan Explosive @ToddWBZ off the charts vert velocity (UP) lifted dex 5, saturated, convergent wind, 5C H2O / -20C 4000′ pressure near 1000 mb
SR Airglow
Woah at the GFS! That's 1-3" back to me and the NY border and with ratios possibly warning snow in boston. That's a nice change of events

ORH_wxman
All guidance has been hinting at an initial area of general lift for a day or two now. I think I mentioned it yesterday...regardless of what exact qpf output was showing.

Ryan
Looks to me like 4-8" from Cape Ann northward with locally higher amounts on the NH seacoast and in York county ME. It's been a while since a Rockingham/Essex county jackpot, so I'm hoping that's the case...

N. OF PIKE
Ryan I think the srefs and meso's have the right idea. Looks like 7-10 split for bos. Fairly confident as of now best snows set up portsmouth nh to wells, maine and then, the south coast of se ct , ri, se mass and cape could see 3-6 . Less west/more east. I think in between those regions a general 1-2 inches will fall inc.bos and surrounding areas. Not sure what weenies are so excited about, I thought globals aren't the models to look at in this set up? Unless peeps think the gs is gonna blow up a coastal low? Looks like 1-2 with more south coasts and cape and more from ne mass/nh border to down east maine just sw of portland. I don't have acess to meso models on my mobile but by ur last comment and srefs they seem to to have stayed the course. Love to see them shift the nh/maine stuff s
