N. OF PIKE
I still think this is portsmouth sw to ne mass/e ma. Not a maine deal.
joey2002
Looks pretty textbook. Climatologically, the Central and Southern Coast of ME through Seacoast NH is much more strongly favored.

ORH_wxman
I still think this is portsmouth sw to ne mass/e ma. Not a maine deal. It might be...S ME climatologically is pretty good for these....though there is obvious model disagreement. Norluns and inverted troughs are inherently very difficult. The 2/22/07 norlun I remember being forecast as a SE NH deal right up until the event actually started, but the LL convergence set up over NE CT and C MA and we got like a 4-6" event while outside got 1-2". Tropopause_Fold
Decent OES signal on that NAM run tomorrow PM...perhaps some enhancement from the system moving in. Still thinking advisory type deal here.
SR Airglow
And NAM kills any hope of more than an inch here, on to friday which isn't looking so great either down here per EURO. Oh well hopefully friday trends north and SLK gets a foot, so atleast one of my locales sees snow. -skisheep
TalcottWx
It looks like the way the NAM had less energy round through and the fact its less diggier is leading to the location of the norlun moving up the coast. vast differences at 5h

Yes that one sticks out in my mind. That was during that snowy week..I had 5 inches here. The only good period that whole winter. Not saying that happens again but I don't care what the models show..this is not etched in stone by any means..and folks calling for flurries may be a bit premature
TalcottWx
We need to see that trof dig more out west early on if we want this to be an SNE jackpot.

Clinch Leatherwood
Wow...Boston goes jackpot to screw job on the NAM. Shows why it pays to be cautious in these type of events. Thankfully it was never that big a deal in CT...I'll take my 1-2" then set my eyes on the end of the week. Euro ftw, meso models for the lol?? My dusting will be epic.
