OKpowdah
As expected after the SREF shift, 18z NAM is shifted northeast. I'm thinking 1-3" for most with a narrow band of 4-8" in SE NH / southern Maine

Not sure why anyone would expect warning criteria form a Norlun event...you have to hope to get lucky in these. We won't know who that is until probably tomorrow. dendrite
This is why you don't make 6-12" snowfall maps 2d out for a mesoscale event.
CoastalWx
This doesn't have the look of a big widespread area so unless you get a band, I don't think you'll see much. Models will always show a smoother out area of QPF wen in reality it might not look like that. Meh.

For our sake, don't relate Pats success to Boston snowfall lol. Not this winter. SREFs ticking northeast, not a surprise. SF game so far, on the other hand... Which is why I was shocked to see so many tv mets so bullish. If it trended better, there would still be time to call for me. Some people are expecting 6-12 on BOS right now. Ugh. Mr. Windcredible!
Wow...Boston goes jackpot to screw job on the NAM. Shows why it pays to be cautious in these type of events. Thankfully it was never that big a deal in CT...I'll take my 1-2" then set my eyes on the end of the week.
