snowstormcanuck
EC updated their forecast to 5-10cm everywhere with localized 15cm along the lakeshore. I'm still skeptical that anyone downtown, westerwards sees more than 2" I'm at Yonge-Bloor, hoping for some action here. We haven't seen more than 3-4cm on the ground at a time this winter December 27th?

Even including that storm it's been a crappy winter thus far. Looks like the band has made landfall in the Beaches.

Snowing here now. Pretty big flakes. I'd still call it -SN though.
snowstormcanuck
Snowing here now. Pretty big flakes. I'd still call it -SN though. We've had three Lk Ontario events since early January and they've all had too much of a southerly component to do us in the west end any good. Sort of unlucky. WestCoaster
Moderate snow here now. Big flakes coming down. No wind though, so visibility isn't bad. It looks pretty.

Pics'd be appreciated if possible 'cause I ain't gonna see squat here in Mississauga. And the discrepancy between my BY and the downtown snowfall amounts this winter will continue to grow. Radar drying out over downtown of course.

snowstormcanuck
Looking at radar I'm wondering if EC jumped the gun a bit with these watches and warnings. Band seems like a POS that's going to have a hard time dropping more than 2".

weatherbo
Large area of 16-20" depths and pockets of 20-30". I think this is the deepest for NW Lower all Winter. Nice to see central and Southern MI adding to their depth as well. Feels like a little bit of a buffer to warm air surges when they have good snowfall depths. My depth today is 20" after the 3" received today but it's pretty dense and settled already.
BuffaloWeather
well below normal still I assume? Yes, 20-30 inches below. But already passed last years total a few days ago.
