Man, that 6zgfs run was about as bad as it gets, hopefully the ens were much better but I feel like the ever present potential is slowly slipping away from the period outlined.  To make it worse we never even go below freezing, temps rose all night melting the snow further.

Any reload should cut a storm to our NW as the pattern does not support coastal development.

How about a swfe? It will support that and with good cold nearby we've sometimes done very well but not so much in your location.

I got that smiley face 20 minutes before your snow shut off yesterday morning as well.   No offense but I school you on temps pretty much all the time, we all want it to snow and be cold, just does not look to good,  I think your -2 for BOS this month might be a touch low but good luck.

 

You think it will be hard to get to 50 here, LOL its 38 right now at 728 am with snowpack, which will be gone by tonight.  Nice pic by the way, very wintery scene.

Well its a gorgeous day, everyone enjoy it and hopefully things work out, I still think its a FAB FEB and really think HM has a good handle on this pattern.

HM posted yesterday that we are at a time when the mid range models are going to be particularly bad. I forget why of course...

So we have a bad overnight set of runs and the bridge jumpers appear and northeaster27 stops by to educate us.  Just waiting for Eduggs/educate to tell us how bad forecasting is.  Maybe Ji will stop in for a troll.

Nothing changed overnight. As we said several times, we will relax a bit after next week possibly before a reload. The relaxation very well could be a mild pattern for a few days. Nothing has changed.

Eh, it's iffy right now. The models are having trouble getting the s/w's to dig. The euro tries, but it needs a lot of work.

I'm a little disappointed that the weekend clipper is going so far north. That could have been something at the gate of a several day arctic attack.

why was it that hm was saying the models would be particularly sucky?  I feel like this is a pattern where stuff could pop up at 72-96, outta nowhere

Hopefully we don't stay cold and quiet as some are predicting.  At least there's some snow on the ground, but we need to keep building on that foundation.  I don't care if it's 4" each event, just keep it coming.  Currently wintery looking out there.  28/26
