gfs ens mean has basically 3/4ths of canada with 850s -20C or colder by sunday - with a massive area of -30C type of stuff. and heading south.

I would love to see the Euro work, folks tailgating under a 35-40 degree day, enjoying the warmth, heading to the game in early spring attire then having their lips frozen together by halftime under Arctic squalls, would be cool.

It's nice particularly from you north.  Warning criteria, probably close to an inch or more QPF?  Fast moving.

it's a bit more than .25 - probably like .3 or .4. but i just mean it blows the low across the canal and with the primary being so strong it doesn't really get it's crap together until the GOM so what could be a BM bomb just kind of craps out for SNE.

For Maine? Probably like -10F, lol.

 

Here it would probably be low/mid teens...esp if we have snow cover.

Yeah there's a lot worse looking setups 8-9 days out. Looks like another threat coming in a few days later. Gotta love the cold air supply too.

anyone have an map from the cold outbreak in 04, I thought -30 850s were over most of the upstate and north country.
