CT Rain
this torch peaks over the next 24 hours. tonight will be one of those brutal S wind nights. Yup. Though 40/40 last night didn't help.... tonight's 48/48 with a wind picking up will be torchtastic. Can't wait for Joe to post the departures this morning. educate
Why? because thats their best 'guess' at this point? their point of view is that the influx of cold is more back end loaded and will really get going just beyond saturday.

Yeah I could see it trending colder but at least right now the models are definitely not anywhere near teens at BDL. Looks like me like a near climo kind of day. CT Rain
The op Euro is definitely the coldest... the Euro Ens mean is like -8c at 850 by 00z Saturday. If anything the trend has been more of a "glancing" blow of the cold in SNE so I could definitely see the milder solutions panning out.

CT Rain
Bare ground and west winds. Yeah... meh for cold. If we wind up with colder 850s I could see U20s but nothing to get excited about. Another week of AOA normal temperatures.

I respect those that love bitter arctic cold even if the landscape is brown, but to me just get me to spring I have no use for it unless I am lacing up my skates and who knows if it sticks around to even freeze the ponds which have now melted.....................again.
