I hope the Pats game is much less exciting. A nice 34-17 win, decided early in the 3rd quarter, thank you

 

It's going to be a really tough game.  The rematches post blowout almost always are...Pats will need to play clean.

 

There's still snow piles in parking lots here, but everything else is gone today.  Only 42 degrees, not any way to run a torch

50's tomorrow?

 

I would doubt you get into the 50s up there...I'm thinking tomorrow is going to be a slightly, marginally warmer repeat of today. Still a lot of fog and showers around as the inversion holds tough with south/southeast winds. It's difficult to get big-time warmth in mid-winter with southeast winds off the ocean.

Like we were saying with that ridge....that's gonna be tough to have a cold and dry pattern with it being so amplified. I think people need to not take every model verbatim and look at the overall pattern.

Now this the Scooter we know and love, welcome back from the dark side. Lol This is a Boston special pattern, would not be surprised if an OES doozy showed up.

The 06z will come in flat...and we'll see 17 posts on it.

 

 

One word I kept preaching at the GTG tonight was patience. I said this pattern will deliever as long as it verifies even close to progs...which looks likely because the spread isn't that bad for the EPO region and the PV in Hudson bay....that will produce...people just need to let it happen...its not going to happen right when the first polar front comes through on Monday. Then we get an arctic front on Thursday/Friday....let the pattern evolve. Its a good one, but don't expect 2 feet of snow by day 8.

This is a ORH to Boston to Ray special, Ray wipes out Kevs lead in ten days?

 

 

I don't think many people will be disappointed if the this pattern pans out....perhaps the most distant southwest posters in our region might be a little annoyed.
