Maybe because there's not much road impact yet, though that could start changing pretty soon.

From Mike Ryan at IND a little over an hour ago:

Here's a 140 pm update...getting a number of reports from obs and spotters/HAMs of freezing rain falling across the Wabash Valley. Radar analysis suggests that we may have some sleet mixing in as well, and expect this to become more prevalent over the next 2-3 hours as the warm air aloft begins to cool. We have checked several road sensors across west central Indiana and they are currently running in the 35 to 38 degree range even with air temps of 30-32 degrees. So while some light icing on roadways is likely to develop, the warm road surface temps should help to keep roads mainly wet. Beginning to see precip transition to snow about 50 miles or so west of the Indiana state line near Mattoon and Effingham IL. Should begin to see snowflakes mix in across the Wabash Valley after 330-4 pm. For Indy metro...temps still hovering at 36-37 and expect precip to fall in the form of rain through about 4 pm before sleet begins to mix in.

One thing I find interesting is the amount of people who don't understand the freezing rain terminololgy. I have so many times been called out to treat extensive freezing rain. To drive onsite to see all the sleet. Sleet is funny for it can take some time and copious amounts of salt to melt because of the high water content of the material. One thing is for certain if freezing rain is in the forecast you better pretreat with salt and heavy... Once the block of ice is formed is is often very difficult and time consuming to find asphalt again.
