You need to move... You are quite depressing.

Northern Michigan and the Yoop are a-ok through this one....

So, who cares.

Actually a little thaw is ok IMO with long range signals the way they are at least up here.  it will harden and condense the snow pack and it makes for a better less meltable base.  Maybe not the best for riding, but as far as longevity of the snowpack, I like it.  Some concern with how rapid the lake is freezing up here, but even if that cuts back on LE, I like the fact that it will be tuffer to warm up the water this Spring and possibliy provide a classic N Mich Summer.  It's full of win!

The whole winter has been depressing... Its depressing to listen to you rant and rave about lake effect when it effects 1 percent of the forum....

Its a Midwest forum, its the most glaringly unique phenomenon to this region. Alek made a direct shot at it and I responded to him.

Perhaps you should move.

Dont be a douche.

Um, last time I looked... Those locations were the only ones with snow. How can a torch matter if there is nothing to torch?

Lol..  Move from a world class city to cesspool MI  for a few extra inches of fluff.  Brilliant.

This is the second time you've generalized a whole state, stabbing needles at millions who call this home, just so you can make a point to one person. Stop.

No **** and never said it was..  Outside of MI and WI being an outdoorsmans dream who in the their right mind would move to either state.

For the people.  More hospitality than a place like New York where people are not afraid to be rude. Even if it's somewhat fake hospitality it's better than the alternative imo.

Then again, if this board is any indication, I suppose the hospitality isn't great in the Midwest/Great Lakes either lol.

The old Michigan is a cesspool meme, nothing like uneducated people posting stupidity.

As for the long range system, the GFS backed off of its amplified solution on 00z, however it all boils down to whether or not the vort max get cut off in the Southwest. With the strong ridge just West of the West Coast and a strong piece of energy riding over top of that ridge which will kick the system out into the Plains I have a very hard time buying any cut off solutions right now.

The Euro takes this later system from KS through IA/WI into the UP on Tuesday, slamming a cold front East through the day, the Euro brings at least 500 J/kg of CAPE up to Chicago during the day on Tuesday. There is certainly the potential of severe weather with this system as it stands right now for IA/IL/MO per the Euro.
