KokomoWX
I have conceded that there isn't going to be any real snows going forward. The GFS really has not had much fantasy to keep hope alive so I really am ready for spring and severe weather.

Chicago WX
Miss them to the north, miss them to the south. Story of the winter here. Bonus I guess is I don't have to sweat model runs going north or south, warmer or drier. Appreciate it from a distance...like being a Cubs. Out of it before spring training, but still like the sport. cyclone77
Point and click doesn't have a single mention of any snow whatsoever through next Wednesday. Looks like we're gonna take our 8" of seasonal snow into the last half of Feb. At least.

Chicago WX
Yeah, hope we're not about to reel off a long string of clunkers. Time to start thinking severe season for our hood. What's typical of neutral Springs? Any clear tendencies?
Hoosier
Time to start thinking severe season for our hood. What's typical of neutral Springs? Any clear tendencies? Probably better than Nino years on average but I haven't checked into it too much. Although we've kept it at bay locally, the large scale drought concerns me...hopefully we don't have another early shutdown.

Looks like the pattern could start bringing storms into the Plains, starting with this weekend's cutter. Hopefully that helps alleviate things to our west a bit. It IS a bonus especially if you are in a area like this that has forever come out with the shorter end of the stick. Back east i got alot less snow but ala we did not get these endless teases. ALWAYS a storm ( atleast every 5-8 yrs or so or less a few times) that delivered the goods and more so which helped make up for the bad in between. A move is needed for me ( easier said then done ofcourse. lol ) as this place has done nothing but make me hate ma nature which i had thought was impossible. This area is a f-ing joke where REAL snow storms are concerned. Same sh!t different year. lol Now there is my rant.
