Retrogression of the ridge off the west coast on the forecast valid almost at the same time as the earlier GEFS that had a decent pattern goign forward is really ugly as we get a negative PNA to counteract the atlantic side. If the mean was right, we'd probably again has a lakes cutter or OH valley scenario and would be back above freezing fairly quickly. The run is quite a bit different than last night's 06Z version.
