So hyping a warm period leads to similar results to hyping a snow storm.  FAIL.  Interesting.  I'll have to try that next hurricane season.

I wouldn't say this thread was hype. All along Sunday looked like the day with a potential for 60s.....still may or may not happen near I-95.

 

Edit: 00z Nam pretty toasty I-95 on Monday like tombo was saying ahead of the front.

Idk if i would consider talking about a warm period that could see highs 15-20 degrees above average as hyping. I guess I just have a different definition of hyping.

Looks like the N. loopy part of the warm front has retreated back across NY and the N. cold front has slid E'wrd almost catching it...I'll leave it to Ray or another more knowledgeable to word it better,if I see it right...     

 

Essentially correct, the front seems likely to occlude up north.
