H2Otown_WX
I'm trying to write a short article about the very cold month of December Fairbanks,AK had but I can't seem to find anything about their past weather. Mainly I'm trying to relate how cold this past December was compared to past Decembers since records have been kept. This is the only link I've found but it doesn't have monthly records only dailies: http://docs.lib.noaa.gov/noaa_documents/NOAA_related_docs/Fairbanls_Climate_Almanac.pdf
Chicago WX
http://www7.ncdc.noaa.gov/IPS/'>http://www7.ncdc.noaa.gov/IPS/ Use the Local Climatological Data link. Then Alaska, then Fairbanks. You can do it by month obviously, but using the "annual" dates will give you 30-40 years of past data (2011-ANNUAL will have average temps for each month going back to 1982, so on and so forth for older data).
