Well we know we're getting a nice 5-10 days beginning around Tuesday or Wednesday. May e we'll get lucky and end up with an extension.

I could see a bit of a relaxation and reload. I think I mentioned this a couple days ago.

Even some of the great years had a few chinks in the armour...1994 had a cutter in January at the end of the month and a lot of people forget the Jan 17-18, 1994 storm which torched the coast...it was an inland runner...went almost over my head.

There's always the possibility that we relax and then go into another favorable period. At this time range though, we have no idea. We could also just go into a bad pattern again, though the AO would argue against sustained crap...we manged to pull it off in December with a strong -AO, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

I'll totally laugh if that gets suppressed. The euro holds a little energy back so if some of that got into the mix...it would be a more formidable wave I think.

The GFS and Euro both leave an ULL behind over extreme SW US. That's going to confuse the **** out of models I think. Watch that feature...not just for the wave next week..but afterwards too.

Yep. I mentioned that a couple pages back when the GFs came out. Very important feature.
