40/70 Benchmark
Don't let his demeanor fool ya, when he saw those Ens Means I know he had visions of 92 97 dancing in his head. The public face has to be calm and low key, its what he does for a living, me, LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR.

nzucker
18z GFS may be retreating the PV faster than 12z, but it definitely looks flatter at 5H. We'll see if it can pull it off later in the run but not looking as epic so far.
Ginx snewx
I'm pretty sure the 12z EURO is a bit too far west.....I know that will elicit alot of weenies from the CT and W MA crowd, but so be it.....JMHO. Not from this CT weenie

CT Rain
Looking at the 500mb maps for the GFS now it's amazing how different they are from 36 hours ago with handling the PV.
CT Rain
It appears at first glance that the 18z GFS is coming in a bit flatter than the 12z run Yeah... but at the same time the s/w over the northern Rockies looks a bit stronger lol
40/70 Benchmark
18z will likely back off a bit, then the 12z snaps back to epic reality.....shakes hands with the EURO on a track just inside of 40\70 and we call it a day.
ORH_wxman
Yeah this is definitely going to come in less amplified. Just how much is hard to say.

OKpowdah
Just finished my last final for the semester Fun discussion by Taunton. Sooo, I'm gaining some confidence in warning criteria out to ORH-CON. And I like the looks of things for somebody to jackpot 12+". nzucker
Congrats Phil on this run. This run looks horrible...I still think this storm is going to miss NYC, and most of SNE, to the east...despite how much I love snow. There's just a weird feeling I have that this one isn't going to be a KU or even a MECS, but more of a grazing or out to sea solution.
Kbosch
Perhaps more than "a little" east..lol. Alarmingly east...but it is the 18z GFS. Noted, understood, and put back in its place.
