40/70 Benchmark
It may not be enough on this run. That southern s/w seems progressive, but the vortmax coming into the High Plains is very strong. OMFG I'd like to slip into a coma until Sunday
CT Rain
Looks like it won't be enough.. but does look better than 18z. Comparing the Euro to the NAM you can see the Euro is a lot sharper by 42 hours.
CoastalWx
I don't know guys, that next s/w might try to save the day.
HoarfrostHubb
I agree Gerry, Just seems a little tame for him. Ill have to see if I can find his old blog. He used to do a split between "official" and "how cool would this be" analysis on his blog. Watch his video feed from 6:40PM on www.mattnoyes.net wel done as usual... a bit cautious attm, but he makes sense

CoastalWx
The one heading for the base of the trof? Yeah look at hr 45. It tries to dig the trough further, but not sure of the outcome. Seems like timing is different here as compared to other runs?
joey
guys compare 700 mb to 18z. MUCH BETTER.

HoarfrostHubb
One thing Matt N. was commenting on in his video was the wind coming from the northeast bringing warmth from Nova Scotia and setting up the coast for rain after an initial burst of snow... Any thoughts, has this been mentioned?
snowNH
I think this looks better just because the NAM is trying to make the Gulf low the predom. low and not the one off the SE coast.
Ginx snewx
The vm's were all sheared apart on 18Z. Look better I think now....still... I love on Twister Dat how you can compare instantly each run, this is further West with more energy, not that it matters
yoda
Take a peak at the h7 maps at 42 on the 00z. Then look at the h7 map on the 18z at 48. Its way west

Kbosch
Definitely looks better through 42. But please, no chairs. It's still the NAM far out. Nice to see progress but we don't need a hit here. We're all good. This is gravy.
CoastalWx
I think this will be better than 18z. S/W wave coming from the Plains is very strong.

40/70 Benchmark
Ok it's better.....we just have to determine whether it's a hit or M Cloudy as opposed to P Cloudy.
ORH_wxman
I think this will be better than 18z. S/W wave coming from the Plains is very strong. Yeah I would be surprised if this doesnt at least hit eastern areas.
DomNH
Ok it's better.....we just have to determine whether it's a hit or M Cloudy as opposed to P Cloudy. Does it really matter...it's the long range NAM. As long as it's better, that's all I care about.
