Ginx snewx
Until 24 or 36 hours they're not of a whole lot of use. Would like the GFS and NAM to show something fun. I fully expect mayhem from the NAM until inside 48 and the GFS LOL

hooralph
I still feel so spurned from last winter, it's hard to get excited yet. I entered the season with optimism, but the start has felt like a horrible re-run so far. But I'm out in Indiana. There's snow on the ground. It's nice. Let's me know that I can love again. weathafella
Just a bit less confluence over us, but nothing to crazy in terms of changes yet. Main difference seems to be the reduction in confluence allowing hts to come up in the SE more. Should help I hope.

Assuming the Nam is good at the 30 hour range which it usually is, this is great

Yeah that vortmax over Michigan is trying to line up better with the southern s/w over AR and MO. Also pretty strong vortmax over WY lowering heights out that way. CoastalWx
It may not be enough on this run. That southern s/w seems progressive, but the vortmax coming into the High Plains is very strong.
