i wouldn't bank on it. I would just keep your fingers crossed for the clipper. With that cold air in place .1 qpf can turn to 2 inches easily, i know your gf is used to 2.

WHOA!!!!!!!! BURNED!!! haha well played. 2", from the ground ! HEYO!

anyhow, still thinking later JAN-early FEB is the time period to watch. in the meantime, we'll get out cold... and lynchburg VA will have more snow on the ground this year than Philly .... WOMP WOMP!

Just another slap in the face to the extreme se pa crew in this already crappy winter ( to date anyway).

So it's one 18z run(usually a ****ty run) of a ****ty model, and the European.....versus......everyone else? Yeah, not good enough reason to give up just yet.....lets just see what the gfs says...

No reason to get angry over snow.

lol, you think I'm angry? Far from it, I'm stoked for the first big snow down here in two winters.....I'm just trying to be the voice of moderation and telling people there's no need to be jumping off any bridges just yet.... I'm seeing posts saying "write this one off" etc....and it's foolish to do so based on one model run.

This winter sucks

it's got two weeks to deliver or i punt

I'm starting to think if we don't get something for this region by 2/5 we're probably done, at least as far as getting 2 big systems, we might see a fluke event somewhere in later February or March but right now I would not be surprised if PHL/NYC make a run at a top snowless winter..this has about as 80s ish a feel for a winter I remember in awhile, not exactly a blowtorch but the right pieces just cannot come together for the coastal areas to see a big snow.

Don't forget a southern midatlantic snowstorm pending, i know a few of those crappy 80's winters had them

Even that guy cannot understand why there are Winter Storm Watches for Southern New Jersey and Southern Delaware

Strange temperature patterns across all of the country over the last week.....

The Easterly Tropical Trades are blowing strong towards Florida too Yikes!!!

Why shouldn't there be WSW's for far SJ and DE? When all the models earlier today, except for the Euro, were showing accumulating snow that far north.
