A bit banterish, and if Tom or Adam want to remove this, it's ok, but I think it speaks volumes about the winter we (and especially you guys in the Philly metro area) are having. The fact that a 1-3, at best, snowfall has garnered this much attention is something. In a decent to good winter snowfall-wise, a "storm" like this would barely get any airplay.

Well, in fairness there were some model runs which suggested this could be a 6-12" event.  That seems to be off the table completely now.

BTW, a rare freezing rain and sleet event ongoing now here in Elko.  First time I've seen legitimate sleet here, and only the third time I've seen freezing rain here.

& don't forget last winter also blew chucks so we're now 2 yrs removed from a significant snowstorm, Metro Philly wise

A dusting in Avondale this morning.  Going north to work looks like it was just flurries, not enough to stick.

While I admit it is exhilarating to watch you guys track storms as far as 10 days out, this has been a good week for me.  We're going past 36 + hours below freezing, had a few flakes with some more to come.  Hardly a winter cancel, imo.  Still enjoying putting on the layers, watching  vapors rolling out of chimneys, seeing the geese in the ice on the Brandywine, and looking forward to getting home tomorrow watching it snow with a nice glass of wine.

What are you talking about? It's all #climo and #wildguesses anyway

I'm reading Jim Holt's, "Why Does the World Exist," and I think I've gone off my rocker this week. If we all can see, perceive and accept something, perhaps we can will anything to happen (torch...torch...torch..) ... okay I think I need some coffee.
