THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE WALKER

COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY ALABAMA:

DUE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF HOURS...ROAD

CONDITIONS HAVE DETERIORATED CONSIDERABLY CAUSING MULTIPLE TRAFFIC

ACCIDENTS. PLEASE...UNLESS YOU ARE DEALING WITH AN EMERGENCY

SITUATION...STAY OFF COUNTY ROADWAYS UNTIL LATER THIS EVENING.

New rainfall totals for current storm system:

 

0.48 inch on Monday.

0.74 inch on Tuesday.

0.60 inch on Wednesday.

1.30 inches so far today.  Currently raining down in buckets...

 

Storm total:  3.12 inches with more to come today.

 

Temp has also dropped to 39.0 at my house.  Waiting on pins and needles for changeover...
