I was talking to my folks in Paris, TN this morning.  Yesterday the radar showed precip on them for most of the day with temps never getting above zero.  They said barely anything hit the ground, only a brief period of light sleet.  Pretty amazing the radar can be that deceiving.  Must have been some pretty dry layers up in the atmosphere.

I'm still not quite 1" for the year. .36 so far for this event. Weak start.

Trust me by the end of the year you will laughing at my totals!

Since Saturday, I'm almost to 2.5 inches of rain. Currently under WWA for FRZ RN. Some icing of trees has begun, esp in mountain areas around HSV. Lots of chatter about possible winter mischief Thurs.

The rain continues... Up to almost 4" since Sat(storm total). Still hoping to see some white stuff Thursday :)

Same exact thing here. Tomorrow might not make it. Cloud cover and possible sprinkles might hold temps back in the low 70s.
