Lookout just said the same thing I was talking about.

Given the setup, banding, very heavy rates/heavy precip totals, and decently cold enough temps aloft...I expect better than that in localized areas. That's not to say everyone will see that but I think 7 to 10 inches is a decent possibility wherever the heaviest banding occurs. RDU shows saturation all the way up to 450mb for a while.

I don't think they are accounting for the deformation bands, either. I think with that it could end up being closer to 10:1 if you end up under one for a while. There are some big precip totals coming out.

They can't draw a map based o where a deform band *might* set up. Come on man, don't be a doofus.

I borrowed a phrase from Str8cash because it friggin' rocks, but for SC - this is what I'm leaning toward as far as seeing actual snow on the ground:

My apologies for the sub-par excel graphics.  They don't let me use my Photoshop at work - something about productivity or "not working" or whatever...

My teeth are yellowing at an alarming rate.

Oh, you must be from the east end - too proud to bother with dentistry.

*Disclaimer - The great people of the Untied Kingdom and her British Isles have embraced the practice of oral hygiene and do not necessarily fall into categorical tooth decay.
