Expect freezing drizzle or sleet at best in the higher elevations. This is a rainstorm for everyone in the SE.

Metalicwx366.....How does your warm rainstorm look today??? This is a perfect example of some of us who saw the potential for a CAD set-up days ago when others thought it would be nothing more than a frontal passage at best.

:lmao: LOL!  :lmao:

Well, that was a fun little IP/ZR storm.  It didn't satisfy my intense craving for snow, though.  :pimp:

+1 . Had fun with the 2 nickel & dime events the past couple thurs/fri but I need a snowstorm, preferably a historic one like the euro painted last night. Been 9 long years since I measured with a yardstick.

Just looked at my forecast and was surprised, haven't heard anybody mention this?

SUNDAY NIGHT...CLOUDY. A CHANCE OF RAIN AND FREEZING RAIN AFTER
MIDNIGHT. NOT AS COOL WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S. LIGHT AND
VARIABLE WINDS. CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION 30 PERCENT.
.MONDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY. A CHANCE OF FREEZING RAIN IN THE
MORNING. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 40S. CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION
30 PERCENT.

I was reading some discussion about it in the Mid-Atlantic forum earlier. It looks to be rather minor in nature and too warm for us, though, IMO.

Yea I agree, I just watched couple of local channels and they didn't even mention a shower chance? Usually if NWS has a chance in the forecast they will too!

If the precip field were to move further south, we may actually be able to pick up some ZR. Temps actually look more cooperative than I thought and, verbatim, the 18z NAM does perhaps give you a few hundredths of an inch of freezing rain in the morning, Frosty. It quickly warms up during the afternoon, though, so even if it does happen, it probably won't mean much.

The 18z GFS shows a fairly similar solution.
