moneypitmike
So to put this in perspective...my average high is around 28 for that period (give or take) So weeks 2 and 3 it would average from 33.4 to 35.2 and week 4 it would average 29.8 to 31.6. It's a simplification and it may be a torch in a positive anomaly sense, but it wont necessarily feel very torch-like and could include snow threats. I agree with the first part of your statement regarding the positive anomaly. With respect to how it won't 'feel' like a torch, I would say otherwise. Those temps won't bring a sense of chill to me, especially if there's any sun involved. But, of course, how we feel is entirely subjective. And to be sure, you have torches and then you have torches. With respect to the upcomign departures, we've weathered worse. Of course, these will be somewhat protracted anomalies which stinks. With respect to snow possibiltiies, I agree 100%. Mike require a little thicker thread and a smaller needle, but things can still work out if we can get the tracks right. Happy 2013, everyone! Torcherous right now of 31.3/24 and I did go above freezing (32.8) shortly after midnight ft2013l.(for the 2013 loss). Windy. edit: Very Windy

Its 38 degrees at 835 am and everything is melting, huge departure today even though we were supposed to be 7 straight well below. ......okx has taken away all lows in the teens, and highs are now in the 30s. Unbelievable, that was fast.

Of course not just pointing out how warm this airmass is when bdr is experiencing october like low temps today. The cold will come in and save the departure. Its a cold week, nothing like modeled last week still since its been so warm for so long it will feel colder than what the thermo says. Even this tiny little flurry light snow event ended up north and warmer than forecast, I would imagine that might make things a bit more interesting this week. Looks like the berks are getting a nice coating to inch this morning along with ski country. Happy New Year David, Julie is not looking forward to school tomorrow lol.
