Playing with Star Trails

So while I wait for Orion to get into a favorable location (away from the dome of light pollution to the SE), I decided to do some star trail work. I started by using data from previous sessions (Andromeda, Geminids), and then ventured out last night to collect some frames specifically for trails. Here are my results so far.

85mm frames intended for Andromeda. Love the range of color here as well as the fuzzy trail that's Andromeda herself.

Got these from stacking a series of frames captured while Geminid hunting

I did manage to capture one Geminid that night.

Last night's star trail session aimed at Polaris. Want more time on this, but not bad for the first time.
