This sht pisses me off. Everyone is saying how Clinton got 12" when they got 8.5-9.5". Just bugs me how people don't know how to measure.

If it makes you feel better I submitted mine with a note that I find the 12" report in the PNS to be suspicious...doubt anything comes of it though. I could believe 10". 12" is really pushing it.

Gonna be close...we were neck-and-neck, then I passed you by like a half inch...then you caught up.

I'll measure at midnight...I expect it to be just under 7"

You might end up with like a tenth more than me. You'll hold on to snow for a while after I'm done.

I figured you would catch up. The snow there was a bit better the last 2 hours than here, though obviously still great for all of us.

Yeah, this storm was awesome. Driving home in 1/8 snow is something I don't think I'll ever do again. I didn't exactly enjoy hiding in the freezer at work to check radar and post here either. :lmao::weenie:

E MA was only going to get porked for long...they are a pretty good snow spot. They didn't jackpot in this event, but they finally got off the mat. That was going to happen sooner or later. S CT isn't going to get more snow than them in the long run.

I think I'm still ahead of BOS area in seasonal totals, though. I have 15.5" so far this year, 8" of which came during the November 7th event. Dobbs has beaten Boston a few times recently...definitely in 09-10 and 11-12.

Yeah BOS cleaned up in '10-'11 but they got porked twice in the surrounding years. They avg more snow than you, so they aren't going to keep getting the shaft...tonight they got off the mat as I said in the post above, but they will eventually keep getting theirs. Climo always finds a way to catch up....otherwise it wouldn't be climo. '11-'12 was a good winter for proving that. We had been pretty lucky for a long time. Even if you counted the '09-'10 semi screw job.

The water is still dam warm too. I bet if it were closer to climo, it would have been a 33F snow..even with an 060 wind. Hopefully these cold snaps coming up will cool it several degrees. It's been a weird coincidence of areas like srn CT smoking this area. I suppose they were due, and so was a sucky period for BOS.

Doesn't Logan Airport only average about 42-43" per year?

I think I average about 38" considering downtown is 36", so there's not a huge difference. I don't have the latitude or longitude for Miller Bs, but being farther from the water and with more elevation makes up for it.

How much did Boston get in 10-11? I had 70" so I can't have been too far behind...

BOS averages 44" long term since 1950. I think their '81-;10 climo is 43.7".

BOS had 81" in '10-'11.
