N. OF PIKE
Anyone have qpf for kbed and kbvy models had .75 I have feelin they may have gotten 60 percent of that
Mr. Windcredible!
This sht pisses me off. Everyone is saying how Clinton got 12" when they got 8.5-9.5". Just bugs me how people don't know how to measure. If it makes you feel better I submitted mine with a note that I find the 12" report in the PNS to be suspicious...doubt anything comes of it though. I could believe 10". 12" is really pushing it.
DomNH
Gonna be close...we were neck-and-neck, then I passed you by like a half inch...then you caught up. I'll measure at midnight...I expect it to be just under 7" You might end up with like a tenth more than me. You'll hold on to snow for a while after I'm done. ORH_wxman
KBVY has 0.52" right now. Should finish with over 0.60" of qpf
SlantStickers Anonymous
SN still coming down at a good clip, ~3" of snow since we switched back from rain, good stuff! How much fight has this system left in it?
nzucker
Disgusting...such a Miller B screw-job. Still doing well on seasonal totals here, but this one was a bit of an underpeformer back further west in my area.

weatherMA
I figured you would catch up. The snow there was a bit better the last 2 hours than here, though obviously still great for all of us. Yeah, this storm was awesome. Driving home in 1/8 snow is something I don't think I'll ever do again. I didn't exactly enjoy hiding in the freezer at work to check radar and post here either. CoastalWx
Figure maybe 4.5 for storm total. That would put me in ok territory for the season so far. Can't believe how well CT has done yet again..including the shore. La Nina payback.

Figured your area had a great shot at the jackpot. Might see a 12" total from NW RI up in elevation a bit. They got smoked.
nzucker
Sucks that it is cold and dry kiss 'em goodbye after this for quite a while. ORH_wxman
E MA was only going to get porked for long...they are a pretty good snow spot. They didn't jackpot in this event, but they finally got off the mat. That was going to happen sooner or later. S CT isn't going to get more snow than them in the long run. nzucker
Climo always eventually makes it mark. I think I'm still ahead of BOS area in seasonal totals, though. I have 15.5" so far this year, 8" of which came during the November 7th event. Dobbs has beaten Boston a few times recently...definitely in 09-10 and 11-12. 40/70 Benchmark
You might end up with like a tenth more than me. You'll hold on to snow for a while after I'm done. You jumped out ahead early because you got into that weenie band....held like a .5" lead all event..

Yeah BOS cleaned up in '10-'11 but they got porked twice in the surrounding years. They avg more snow than you, so they aren't going to keep getting the shaft...tonight they got off the mat as I said in the post above, but they will eventually keep getting theirs. Climo always finds a way to catch up....otherwise it wouldn't be climo. '11-'12 was a good winter for proving that. We had been pretty lucky for a long time. Even if you counted the '09-'10 semi screw job.

The water is still dam warm too. I bet if it were closer to climo, it would have been a 33F snow..even with an 060 wind. Hopefully these cold snaps coming up will cool it several degrees. It's been a weird coincidence of areas like srn CT smoking this area. I suppose they were due, and so was a sucky period for BOS.

I don't have the latitude or longitude for Miller Bs, but being farther from the water and with more elevation makes up for it. How much did Boston get in 10-11? I had 70" so I can't have been too far behind...
ORH_wxman
Ray is probably due for a string of good events too...you don't avg 62" of snow and keep getting porked for nothing. The snow finds a way to even out...even if it takes a few years...or even a decade and a half like from 1982-1996.
CoastalWx
Even in '09-'10 we had two great storms. Only a few inches from normal...which wasn't bad considering the two good storms.

ORH_wxman
BOS will probably beat you nzucker in about 60-65% of the years when you factor in the covariance....your covariance is lower then a spot like me since you are further from BOS. nzucker
I had 83.7" That's a massive total. How much did your area have in 95-96 and 93-94?
