joey2002
I can't stay awake anymore. Still snowing. Maybe we can tickle 12 here. Need about an inch more How much do you have? Only 9 here.
ORH_wxman
Nice to have reliable, non-slantsticked, not in drifts obs lol I wish MA did this. CT DOT obs were always good to have. I get random DOT obs from MA if I call them, but they don't have a nice network like CT.
CoastalWx
Some of these large amounts by OCMs were partially from the RPM too.

ORH_wxman
i hate when the KFS is right. Yeah me too. He's like JB....predicts monster amounts every time, and when he actually verifies, we have to have egg on our face for a few days.

ono
tapered off here on the durham/madison, ct line. ~9.5" total. we're at a high spot, can see long island sound ~10 miles away. definitely went hard for a while. that's a quick observation walking around the relatively sheltered yard (relative given overall exposure). mid shin to right below the knees here. CoastalWx
i hate when the KFS is right. Honestly, when I looked at basic 700 and 500 vv as well as those weenie fronto and MPV maps on the SPC SREFs..it nailed the areas getting hit. I did wonder if the screw zone would be further east, but it ended up near GC. Bottom line is that 700-500 VVs rule.
ice1972
It's not often I get to go out and weenie out to my hearts content....kids or work or whatever.....timing was exceptional with this one and sipping Baileys and shoveling snow was just what I needed.....after taking several final measurements my total IMBY is 6.8".....maybe I can get another couple tenths with that last little band rolling through......pack is nice now at about 10"..... Praying that we can continue to add to this without any substantial loss of pack....ala Jan 2011...man would that be nice...night folks
