SlantStickers Anonymous
I think I'll be lucky for2- 4". Just not my year again. Well there's still all of January and february left, traditionally better when it comes to producing winter wx in eastern areas. We can't rain forever. kevin1927
Pouring rain. The little snow we started off with has melted. When will our luck change around here?
wxsniss
Finally met the Fella (same street!) and had a nice walk through Coolidge Corner. Literally witnessed the coastal front cross over us: 30˚C nice flakes and clean accumulation, then 32˚C mostly rain and slush 1 hr later. Right now it's still mostly rain. Frustrating night for Boston metro. Props to CoastalWx and all the others who urged caution on the boundary layer temps. 18Z Nam Bufkit nailed this good: had Boston rain for a couple hours up to 39F, then changeover to snow by 03Z. I'm still hoping ~10pm tonight or earlier, we switch and really go to town as we get the meat of the commahead.
CT Rain
There is a Uconn game tonight at Storrs. I hope folks going to the game aren't involved The game's at the XL Center and unfortunately I-84 is a disaster. Closed in a bunch of different places apparently with tons of accidents. N. OF PIKE
I don't think ne mass is doing well wrt forecast. Seems to the north west and sw are all near 6 inches and the cf seems to still be torching lynnfield/w peabody even as we have been in much lighter echoes than areas to the sw and s all nite. I mean ray just has not been getting the hvy rates necessary to pull off a big number. Maybe this changes , back to mod snow here. Looks like my old place in w. Framingham is gonna put a 10 spot, gettin crushd there
