CT Rain
The 18z NAM is orgasmic for E CT (and I assume out into RI and SE Mass). Just perfect snow growth progged. KGON BUFKIT sounding is just classic. Also there are several sneaky layers of conditional instability around... something that will only serve to enhance snowfall. Ginx get ready!!!! sankaty
S+ Picked up about and inch in the past 40 minutes. About 3" total. Great to see the bright banding retreat as colder air pushes the sleet into the sound:

Quincy
That's bright banding not heavy precipitation. True, 1.8"/hr snowfall rates would indicate moderate snow, perhaps light.

It's Always Sunny
Blizz may be in a CT jackpot in that 700-500 vv band on the edge. Yeah that frontogenesis band is just to the south extending through southern RI. Roads starting to accumulate here. Haven't measured yet I'm not going to till there's a considerable amount. Rt 18 in Weymouth was bare ground and a mix Great info, thanks. I was hoping the line wasn't still that far north.
