ctsnowstorm628
Jesus, is that sleet or actual convection off of Long Island? 1.5 inches here, maybe 2 now. Storm is very interesting.. Sleet probably. Notice how it stops at the shore. All snow over land.
OKpowdah
awesome rad presentation from Taunton - solid arcing wall that actually looks like it's moving more N than NE in the last couple few frames - ORH probably went to a 1/4 mil in less than 10 minutes Yeah you can see the subsidence moat developing outside of the wall as well. Pretty classic presentation

tamarack
you know i wouldn't have believed this was possible if i hadn't seen it a couple years back in burlington mass. in the feb 2010 elevation event that crushed areas to the NW. literal clumps of snow falling from the sky that were about 2.5 in diameter and had some thickness to them. i'm looking forward to the wall of snow that approaches About 20 years ago when I lived south of AUG, we had a wet snowstorm in March that had a spell of 2-4" "flakes" - we joked that the silver dollars had become dollar bills. Occasionally an asymetrical V-shaped aggregate would come down twirling like a maple seed.
