hammerz_nailz
I cannot imagine being a snow lover and living on the CT coast. It has to be just absolutely awful. Most of the people I know in upper new york state can't imagine being a snow lover and living anywhere in connecticut.
snowman21
Could a lot of those radar echoes over the sound be due to bright banding? Ive never seen snow at 50 dbzs before I remember something like that. I think it was around 60 dbz between GON and WST in the Boxing Day storm. Snow is still struggling here... very slow transition to all snow... sometimes it's 75% snow with 25% sleet and other times it's 75% sleet and 25% snow. The snow is trying to win out.... Temp now down to 31.9 and a dew of 29.
wxeyeNH
First weenie band of the day about to hit...hopefully it actually brings down some flakes. Amazing that 65 miles to your north it has been snowing at a good pace since mid morning with over 4" so far. No winter storm warnings here. I have just past my total from the storm the other day. This is pure fluff up here that weighs nothing.

moneypitmike
Speaking from Frankin (no warning for you) County-- We will need a dramatic reduction of intensity and/or an early shut off of the snow picket in order to NOT verify warning snows. The forecast for here is 4-8 so tghe advisory makes sense. With 1.4" down at 3:00p.m., though, I have to think that we'll hit closer to the higher end of that range than the lower. That can only mean more for your easterners I thihnk. SN,< 1/2 vs, good flakes. 24.3/
