Boston-winter08
I disagree the storm is stronger and further north than modeled. reports out of ohio and penn. is that what was expected for accumulations they actually received higher amounts. I think a good 4 to 6" is likely of coarse this is my opinion we shall see
ericnh
bos now gives me 4 to 8" total on my local forecast 1 to 3 today and 3 to 5 tonight
Ryan
I believe he is now employed at WSI. Only reason I know he got a job is because I received his Teaching Assistant position when he left. NECN biting hard on the left side of system developing and nailing Eastern SNE. 10" totals for all from say 495 in. Pretty sure he's just showing the RPM contours with his numbers right? RobbieL241
My guess is that BOX will expand the warning to Tolland and Rockingham Counties and add a couple inches to the areas currently in the warning area. That would seem reasonable and prudent. Might need it out to Hartford county, too. NAM/GFS/a boatload of the meso models bring the .5" just West of BDL. DavisStraight
I could see 3" or 10" here. I feel like I say that every storm lol. I was just thinking the same thing, lol, your right on the nothern edge, Im right on the NW edge, keeps trending in our favor though.

Ryan
That's me, I'm about 2 miles or so from the MA border. I don't know I just don't think I'll hit 6''...maybe I can weenie my way to 4.5'' or 5'' but even then I kinda doubt it. Probably won't even be a fluffy snow. I feel good...you'll get to 5" probably. It's Always Sunny
You've stayed steadfast. Good for you. I think we will make out well here. There were a few of us who saw this coming. Blizz that's not happening. Picking up things where they left off with ctsnowstorm, Foxboro better not get 9". I woke up to increased QPF amounts and was like, "sh*t, that has a chance of verifying." I'm still saying 7" there. I upped the totals on my forecast by 1-2 inches for most areas, bringing Norfolk county anywhere between 4-7. I don't see the NW shift like you were implying but the cranked QPF up probably b/c of better enhancement at mid levels, I haven't checked. Yup, for sure, depending on if we get a part of that band later I could see double digit totals or us not even getting advisory snow...

SlantStickers Anonymous
Pretty sure he's just showing the RPM contours with his numbers right? Not really sure, I think that's more of a composite of the models/final thoughts, I think channel 5s online maps are the ones that are only off the one model. weathafella
In all honesty, I'd up my 3-6 and make it 5-10. I feel good about hitting somewhere between the low and high end of that range.
