ctsnowstorm628
Where's it's always sunny? Gotta congratulate him on his 8-9" we discussed last night!
snowman21
Hard to understand why a storm with such as offshore track should have all this rain with it, except for like the Islands and outer Cape of course. Because it's not cold. Already up to 32 here, at 9:30 in the morning, during the coldest time of year.
SnowMan
You might get the nrn fringe of it, but it very well may miss to the south. Ok thanks.

moneypitmike
SREF's really bumped up snow probs at 9z...it must have come even futher west... Great--a 65% for everyone to get at least an 1". What's with that?????? LOL Because it's not cold. Already up to 32 here, at 9:30 in the morning, during the coldest time of year.

CoastalWx
With all this forcing, one thing to watch is subsidence on the back side. Models may not show it, but the laws of atmospheric physics say what goes up, must come down. Trying to figure that out will be a pain, but it's probably gonna be there. HoarfrostHubb
Because it's not cold. Already up to 32 here, at 9:30 in the morning, during the coldest time of year. Yeah, not a lot to work with down there in the tropics. Next week will be better

ctsnowstorm628
Thoughts on OKX's map? seems bogus. First off, only 0.6" qpf near GON? Yeah ok. Secondly, 4-5" max in new London cty with basically 2" along coast? Anybody want to comment?

Damage In Tolland
I don't think it matters one iota, but with the tickles still coming NW you'd have to think the warnings are pushed west a bit.

Well if your winds can back more NE, you'll probably limit any taint. Same here in BOS. My guess is I might be like 35 with -SN or -RASN for a few hours, unless the cstl front is east of me. Tough to predict a mesoscale feature like that....just thinking about climo and what models show.
weatherMA
Oh yeah, SREFs bumped NW a bit. In the SREF plumes, there's pretty much two camps for BOS. One around 2-2.5, and another at 6+.

I could easily see the coast getting 2-3" less than alot of folks, even if its just a wetter heavier snow.
