CoastalWx
I am just sayin that over the past few days I have been warning of it coming further NW. I was told it wouldn't happen and to stop with the weenie posts because I didn't have any support for my comments. Well sometimes the recognition of a seasonal trend - that is that most storms this season have trended NW - is enough to realize this wasn't going OTS. This is a weenie post. There hasn't been a seasonal trend.
moneypitmike
Noyes termed my area the SNE snowbelt..Not me..As Cosgrove would say.."Deal with it" I know he did--still funny And, this storm notwithstanding, I can't see for the life of me why. Enjoy it!

Mr. Windcredible!
The GFS is nasty warm on the CT shoreline. Has HVN with like 0.5" of rain before switching to 1" of snow at the very end. God help me if its right.
CoastalWx
There could be a mini screw hole in CT somewhere. It might be near BDL where they may be just on the west side of any comma head.

God help me if its right. Saw that. Not sure what to make of it...it's been very warm throughout. Again, I think dynamics make this predominantly snow, but it's not Fun to look at. Again, I think dynamics make this predominantly snow, but it's not Fun to look at. I feel like it struggles in dynamic cooling situations...but I may just be telling myself that to make myself feel better. Just frustrated that it took away most BL issues at 0z when I went to bed...I thought it was catching on...only to spit out its warmest run at 6z. I do think its overdone...but am starting to think there will be some BL issues here early on.

Again, I think maybe we are 33-35 at onset of precip but I can't see us raining when the heavy precip arrives. Just makes no meteorological sense, except MAYBE like from CT river east literally along the beaches per climo.

Logan11
Well we have rapidly gone to almost a moderate snow here as it has moved in from the primary low... Coastal a non-factor here unless there is some inverted trough action. There could be a mini screw hole in CT somewhere. It might be near BDL where they may be just on the west side of any comma head.
