Boston-winter08
NAM looks to have a consolidated LP off VA at 18h, as opposed to 3+ hrs later on the 18z run

Tropopause_Fold
I know you are a stoic guy, level headed, conservative. My question is, was your Christmas Red Sox nighty robe able to contain that pants tent after seeing the ARW? you got that part right i guess. eh, honestly i just don't see this working out down here but will always welcome snow. ORH_wxman
The core of the precip shield looks more compact on this run vs 18z...so I think the totals are generally going to be lower on this run except within that CCB on the Cape.
ctsnowstorm628
NAM gets solid snows into southern CT. Pretty similar from what I can see. 0.5" from my house to PVD to marshfield mass at h30

Again as earlier - the NAM picked up on the NW trend...other models continued and showed precip. This has happened again with this suite. NAM is again showing another NW tick - the rest will follow. Time to get pumped!

Boston-winter08
pretty crappy sucker hole over ORH (qpf wise) as depicted on the 00z nam
mattmfm
NAM really tightens up the core, from <.25" at SFZ to 2" just off ACK. Rough, unless you get into CCB.

ctsnowstorm628
I still have my threshold at 4" until other guidance changes. I think you're good for 3-4". This was never BOS's storm though except for that weenie euro run. It was really a legit 'threat' for HVN-PVD-TAN for 6+ I think.
