Here's DT's snowfall map:

And News 12 NJ's:

WABC 7:

And lastly Wild about Weather's on Facebook, who seems to be pretty accurate most of the time, but I'm not sure how reputable he is.

So my question is what's deal with the big differences between maps?

The last one actually looks pretty reasonable.. DTs map looks on point also.

NJ12 Map looks like a carbon copy of the 12z NAM snowfall map..

I'm trying to decide if I should pull the plug on a wine tour tomorrow- we have a limo booked to hit wineries in Warwick, Washingtonville and Central Valley here in the OC.

1-3 inches probably isn't too bad, but if we get 2-4 or more than its probably a no go for us.

Hopefully there is good consensus by later today.

What do you more informed people think based on the latest?

I cant believe this is even a consideration...

Temps are plenty cold all the way up, so we should do better than 10:1 in the meaningful precip rates, but there's not really any great lift so I don't know if it'll be crazy.

yeah I agree.. 12:1 will probably be where we stand... Hey with what the NAM is spitting out that could yield us 5-8".. Then again I always take the NAM with a grain of salt..

NWS Albany has finally posted a WWA for 4-6 inches in Western Dutchess.. I think we will do well if we reach 4" but we will see.. Either way, I am looking forward to it :snowman:

I guess the benchmark for most of us is whether we can surpass Wednesday's totals. 4.6" or greater will do it for me. 4-6 is pretty bold I think, but Albany seemed low on Wednesday so who knows.

Just came home from having a few brews

21 degrees in Monroe - a nice crisp winter night.

Looking forward to some snow! Wine tour is canceled but we will party tomorrow night anyway.

Here's to 6 more inches!

On a side note- if you're a scotch man I highly suggest you check out Oban 14. - highly worth it.
