They act is if they control weather. they must be a blast to hang out with too.

I will take a final measure around 11:30-11:45 prior to bed.

Overall a solid storm. Hopefully a few more down the road.

Cheers,

Matt

Lol - you hit the nail on the head. I can remember getting upset as a kid when a storm didn't pan out. But some of the stuff you read in there is really off the wall sometimes.

The weather is going to do what it's going to do - and sometimes all those models don't mean much in the end. Nothing we can do about it.

Just gotta sit back and take what Mother Nature gives us.

Enjoy your snow!

Snow growth is awesome too.. About 9" here now and heavy snow continues..

Snow growth is great here too with heavy snow.  Over 10"  here so far.

>Yup good one for sure. Wash, rinse and repeat midweek?

Go take the XTREK out for a spin and let me know how she performs. :P

NWS Mt Holly Sussex Total of 6.5" as of 7am is completely bogus....over 14" here.   Someone entered a wrong digit, or the gradient from eastern to western side of the borough was nuts.

Do you live in town? I saw wantage came in with around 9 inches. That spotter is reliable it seems.

The 6.5 may also only be the Saturday total and not anything that occurred on Friday.

That's exactly what I did.  We hadn't seen a plow on my street after 4pm so I went for a ride around the hill at 1am.  There was a foot on the road and drifts up to the hood at some of the corners, I don't think a single vehicle had gone by after about 6pm on some of the streets I was on.  The car was fantastic!  Scary to think what it could do with snows rather than the stock tires.

yeah matt, Sussex borough. border of Vernon. i measured accurately...followed protocol. i had a decent accumulation before the mega band came through...where i saw Montague was bone dry. lots of microclimates up here though.
