I'm not convinced they didn't overmeasure during a certain one hour period during the morning when it was reported they picked up 3"...and then spent the next couple of hours understating in order that the correct total lined up by mid-afternoon. You are correct, it was still snowing pretty well on a couple of occasions after noontime.

Not gonna get into conspiracy theories. No doubt there were some challenges with measuring on a day like this. I see it got bumped to 7.5"

Whaddayahknow,

Averaged out 6.2cm (2.4") myself Snowstorms. Good to have some support with these wind driven events.

. Haha that's wonderful Canuck, like I said. Its around 5.8cm in vaughan now, I think we may have around 10-12cm by morning hopefully, we get a surprise or a miracle.

Wow just got in from a walk. Will post pics soon.

Measured an average of 6"!! Awesome.

Hopefully that band can creep a bit more north to you Canuck. So close!

Wow! And you're probably going to add to that. It's too late here. Even though the band is going to brush us, it's weakening and we're probably not going to see the type of +SN you saw. I still thin 5" is doable, which was exactly what I was expecting.

Trying to measure this stuff sucked moose balls with the wind. Where i am is it a bit open/exposed especially towards my north so it was blowing good here. Thus my guesstimate of 3-4"..

Should add on a bit more but things seem to be drying up out to the west. We started snowing here about 1.5-2 hours before you guys which I think really helped as well. Quite happy with the results though! Measured one 16" drift as a bonus.

Nice. Since we're already in lock step with our measuring, I'm just going to stay toasty in my house while you do the dirty work. :)

Lmaoo, lazy canuck? Haha. Its quite windy outside still, I think winds picked up since the last time I went. If I go out in about 15 mins from now I'm assuming its going to be around 10cm given the rate its falling at now.
