Snowstorms
It's not over for you, but any hope of 6" plus is pretty much done. . The NAM is to never be trusted, it should be discontinued immediately -.- LOL. Oh well, the band across Lake ontario is oh so very close.
harrisale
Just squeaking into that band now I believe! Looks great out there.
Hoosier
I'm not convinced they didn't overmeasure during a certain one hour period during the morning when it was reported they picked up 3"...and then spent the next couple of hours understating in order that the correct total lined up by mid-afternoon. You are correct, it was still snowing pretty well on a couple of occasions after noontime. Not gonna get into conspiracy theories. No doubt there were some challenges with measuring on a day like this. I see it got bumped to 7.5"

Torontonian
Have about 2" here. Surprised it's that low where you are. You've probably been subject to the better returns. Maybe 1.5 inch near Queens Park. i am surprised as well. Little more to go....yawn.
Ottawa Blizzard
Looks like that snow band over Lake Ontario is slowly creeping northwards, with light greens on the radar now north of the 401. Not as intense as in the west end, but more snow nonetheless. Hopefully I can pick up another couple of inches over the next couple of hours. Haha that's wonderful Canuck, like I said. Its around 5.8cm in vaughan now, I think we may have around 10-12cm by morning hopefully, we get a surprise or a miracle. We'll see. Even without it, -SN for the next 5-7 hours should be enough to get up to 4".
Geos
It sure looks like the band is drifting in! http://www.wunderground.com/radar/radblast.asp?ID=WKR&lat=43.63000107&lon=-79.40000153&label=Toronto%2C+Ontario&type=C0R&zoommode=pan&map.x=400&map.y=240¢erx=400¢ery=240&prevzoom=zoom&num=1&delay=15&scale=1&showlabels=1&smooth=1&noclutter=1&showstorms=
snowstormcanuck
It sure looks like the band is drifting in! http://www.wundergro...=1&showstorms=0 Yeah, it's weakening a bit, but it should at least get into the downtown core.

Hopefully that band can creep a bit more north to you Canuck. So close! Wow! And you're probably going to add to that. It's too late here. Even though the band is going to brush us, it's weakening and we're probably not going to see the type of +SN you saw. I still thin 5" is doable, which was exactly what I was expecting. Harry
Not gonna get into conspiracy theories. No doubt there were some challenges with measuring on a day like this. I see it got bumped to 7.5" Trying to measure this stuff sucked moose balls with the wind. Where i am is it a bit open/exposed especially towards my north so it was blowing good here. Thus my guesstimate of 3-4"..

Should add on a bit more but things seem to be drying up out to the west. We started snowing here about 1.5-2 hours before you guys which I think really helped as well. Quite happy with the results though! Measured one 16" drift as a bonus.

Lmaoo, lazy canuck? Haha. Its quite windy outside still, I think winds picked up since the last time I went. If I go out in about 15 mins from now I'm assuming its going to be around 10cm given the rate its falling at now.
