Final total before the rain took over was ~3.75". Around midnight or so it started to pour and the wind picked up. Went to bed after that so I have no idea what happened overnight. bluewave Posted December 27, 2012 Share Posted December 27, 2012 Id like to report "moderate" coastal flooding in Freeport in southern Nassau Co Yeah, there was a brief peak above moderate levels there. We got lucky that the storm surge maxed out at low tide after midnight when the strongest winds were occurring like the models were forecasting.
