nzucker
Down to 30.7F. My temperature has actually crept up...downtown was at 29.9F during the heavy snow but is up to 30.4F with the lull in precipitation. I'm usually about a degree colder, and my inaccurate outdoor thermometer is showing a temperature just over 28F. I could see an extended period of sleet/ice after the snow ends if we don't warm much. Going to be close. However, 925mb temperatures are warming per mesoanalysis...we're still around -3.5C but the freezing line is just south of I-78 in Central NJ. NorthShoreWx
Down to 33.8 now with a snow/sleet mix. There is a light coating on the non-paved surfaces. It looks like the precip is about to shut off for a short period. I imagine that would be the end of the temp decline and maybe also the frozen. We'll see.
