Sorry, but I'm disappointed. I'd say pretty good bust in our area from the 12-16" forecast. Yet, again, do these big storms ever finish as advertised? Seems like the non-events always over perform, like on x-mas. Forecast was for dusting/0.5". Ended with just over 2".

It could be rain, Then how would you feel?

More huge wind whipped flakes in interior Seacoast in Newmarket...pretty consistent banded snow since about 8am after about 4 inches overnight and then a layer of sleet. Easily over 10" now but next to impossible to measure.

As it turns out you were in a great spot. I've been watching that stuff all morning come off the ocean and pass by to my east. Glad you are getting it for your first storm on the board!

I don't know - I'm still in Portland. Nice storm here, but I haven't bothered to measure. Ex lives like 3 miles as the crow flies from me, so I hope to meet or exceed that 12" mark for personal verification.

LOL

Man are temps crashing fast. Instant ice on everything..Down to 30.2

And mine keep climbing. in fact, you're now cooler than I--30.5/30 at kpit.

Snow finally ended at 2:00pm., to a snizzle now. I'll be posting 14" for my final.

Interesting storm though. For the first several hours, it was champaign powder, whipping everywhere. Had the sleet or graupel mix in between 4:00 and 4:45. Then, moved to a few hours of 'typical' snow densities which progressed to a heavier snow during the final couple hours. Even the last wasn't good for snowballs, but it did have some heft to it.

BOX called this one well for this neck of the woods.

30.6/30

I haven't done any official measurements, but GYX had Scarborough at 10" before noon - so it's plausible.

Up to 30.5 here with decent dendrites coming down. First driveway pass complete.
