Scott how accurate do you think the Snow/Rain line is on the radar? Still really coming down hard with snow here. How long have I go?t. Feels like I'm hanging on with my finger nails.

I wouldn't be shocked if you flipped as warmer air aloft tries to move in, but the nw advancement of warm air aloft has slowed to a halt. Just kind of got up so haven't had the chance to look hard. I could see you staying snow.

Nice, wind holds suck though, tomorrow will be an epic day with squalls and blue bird times. I love those post storm days up there. Chasing squalls over the Mt finding those pow stashes. Enjoy man you deserve it..

Shouldn't be all day... Llj kicks by later this am. It's funny since winds are dead calm here. Most of the vt ski areas are succeptible to wind holds on E wind days.

Did my best to measure across a wide span of field and protected areas. Based on those, I'm calling 8.5" on the ground. But, I really don't know what it actually would be on 3 hour increments and if there wasn't blowing.

Back to heavy snow and big flakes now. I'll use thie 8.5" as my starting point and what i'll report to NWS for my first report.

That is awesome, Beast reporting a foot, GO GO GO

Seems to be washing out from Lowell to lwm on dual pole for the past couple hours.

We're about to get whacked per radar.

Moderate to heavy snow in Burlington, VT area. It is very hard to tell how much we have so far but I would say it is not more than 4 or 5". Based on the radar last night before I went to bed, I'd say the north country lucked out with this one because I think we'll continue this rate of snow throughout the day if I'm not mistaken, and that will indeed lead to some very nice totals up here. Snow is the "good" kind that accumulates pretty well I'd say.

Just my 2 cents.

Waiting for that crush band to arrive. Hopefully next 20 - 30 minutes.

just switched to sleet south of you from the sound of it.

woke to a surprise- big flakes and another 3" or so on top of a crust. looks like we're up to ~8" now on the ground.
